🚩 Create a New Lead
1. Click on Sales
2. Click on Active Inquiries
3. As you begin Creating an Inquiry for a new Lead or a new customer
4. You may not find them in this drop down list. Click on Create a New Company at the end of the drop down
5. A new drawer will open up that allows you to enter all essential details of the new lead without having to move away from the Inquiry.
6. Enter the basic details
7. Incase you have multiple team members working on logging leads, the duplicate validation will ensure a team member is alerted if someone has already entered that lead before, therefore preventing duplicate data entry.
8. Enter all the essential details and additional details that you have.
9. Such as the Name, country, Company group & Company type
10. Unlike existing customers Sales Person may not be connected to this new lead, add row under Sales Team Details is a great place to indicate that.
Note: This allows the right person to be associated with lead in incentive/ commission based programs.
11. You can add the Address of the new lead if its available at this stage (although its optional at this stage)
12. Keeping contact details of POC for the lead always helps
13. Here's a sample
14. Click on Save on to right corner of the drawer
15. On Inquiry form you will see the tag beside the name as 'Lead Created'
16. Continue to fill up the rest of the details and Create Inquiry
